If you're like us, every summer you end up swimming in green beans! Besides freezing and canning, there's still plenty left over for fresh eating. Needs some inspiration on how to use them up? 

Green beans are one of those things that we just have to have in our garden each year! Not only are they delicious, but they're fun to grow too. We like to grow a few different kinds. This year we grew provider beans which are a bush bean, and purple pole beans. The purple beans turn green when cooked! We also grow a variety given to us by Eric's grandmother, we aren't sure what it's called, but we save the seeds each year.
